Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups cold water

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients and beat until smooth.
  2. Fry slowly on a griddle or in large frypan in small amounts of cooking oil. Using a ladle, pour and swirl into a desired size circle. Let fry until the top is dry, then flip for a minute or so to set the other side. If they turn out like crepes, make the shells thicker.
  3. Fill with your favorite ingredients. We use seasoned hamburger, tomato, onion, lettuce, cheese, green peppers, olives.
