Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 lbs butter
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 2 cups buttermilk

Directions:

  1. Allow 2 1/2 lbs. butter to come to room temperature for about 1-2 hours.
  2. Beat with electric mixer, adding 1/2 T. salt, 2 cups buttermilk until light and fluffy.
  3. Keep refrigerated in a covered container.
