Hibiscus-Infused Simple Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 hibiscus tea bags (such as the republic of tea hibiscus superflower tea)

Directions:

  1. Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan; bring to a simmer, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and add hibiscus tea bags; let steep until cool. Strain; cover and keep chilled. Transfer to an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a month.
