Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 170 Celsius.
  2. 1. Melt the sugar, butter and golden syrup in a saucepan.
  3. 2. Sieve all the dry ingredients together, then add your vanilla essence.
  4. 3. Slowly add the melted sugar, butter and syrup, then stir with a wooden spoon.
  5. 4. Knead the mix for 3-4 minutes.
  6. 5. Roll out the dough to about 5-7mm thickness, then use your choice of cutter to cut 'em out.
  7. 6. Place them in the oven on baking trays lined with greaseproof paper for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  8. 7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
  9. 8. Ice to your taste! :).
