Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Clean and scrub potatoes. (leave skins on) Slice 1/8 inch thick.
  2. Place in bowl of cold water for 30 minutes or longer.
  3. Drain well. Season with season salt, garlic powder and pepper.
  4. Add flour and toss to coat, making sure to separate slices.
  5. Fry in hot oil until lightly brown. Drain on paper towel for a minute.
  6. Sprinkle with more salt. While hot sprinkle the cheese and bacon over the top of fries.
  7. Return to hot oven only until the cheese is melted. Sprinkle with green onions.
  8. Serve hot.
