Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 oz dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • filling
  • 2 1/2 tblsp cinnamon
  • 8 tblsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. For the rolls dissolve yeast in warm milkin a large bowl.
  2. Add sugar,butter,salt,eggs,and flour,mix well.
  3. Knead dough into large ball,using your hands lightly floured.dough will be very moist and tender.
  4. Put in greasesd bowl,cover and let rise till doubled about 1hr.
  5. Roll the dough on lightly floured surface,until opprox. 21inches long by 16 inches wide.
  6. It should be approx 1/4 inch thick
  7. Preheat oven 400 degrees
  8. To make filling,combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl
  9. Spread the softened butter over the surface of the dough,then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over the surface.
  10. Working carefully from the long edge,roll dough down to the bottom edge
  11. Cut the dough into 1 3/4 inch slices,and place in lightly greased baking pan
  12. Bake for ten minutes or until golden brown
  13. While the rolls are baking combine icing ingredients
  14. Beat well with electric mixer until light and fluffy
  15. When rolls are slightly cool spread with frosting
  16. These are great heated in microwave for about 33 secs also can be frozen
