Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Cream crisco, brown sugar, cream and vanilla in large bowl until creamy.
  3. Blend in eggs until well mixed.
  4. Whisk flour, salt and baking soda in separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add to creamed mixture.
  6. Add oats and mix.
  7. Add chips and mix.
  8. Drop by rounded tablespoons on ungreased cookie sheet.
  9. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, do not overbake. Cookies will continue to cook after taking out of oven. For my oven, I bake 8 minutes and 30 seconds.
  10. Cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes, remove and continue to cool on wire racks.
