(A) Calendula Oil

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz marigold dried flower petals (just the petals)
  • 8 oz jojoba oil or 8 oz sweet almond extract or 8 oz grapeseed oil

Directions:

  1. Put ingredients in crock pot.
  2. Put on low heat for about 6- 8 hours (I put mine overnight).
  3. Strain.
  4. Squeeze the oil out of the petals.
  5. For stronger oil, discard used herbs and add in another 2 oz.
  6. (I normally keep the used herbs and do an oil/petal rub on myself. It is a little oily so be careful).
  7. Go through low heat again for about 6- 8 hours or overnight.
  8. Strain.
