  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place butter and sugar into medium mixing bowl: mix on low speed until fluffy. add vanilla, flour, and melted chocolate. mix for 2 minutes adding eggs one at a time. Fold in walnuts.
  2. Spread in a 9 x 9 greased pan. sprinkle with white chocolate chips if desired.
  3. Bake approx 40 minutes, testing with toothpick till it comes out clean
