Banana Tea Bread  Mildred Gause

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cup sifted flour
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1/2 cup soft butter or marg.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup sugar

Directions:

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9"x5"x3" loaf pan. Sift flour, soda & salt. Combine butter, sugar, eggs and flavoring in mixing bowl; cream 2 minutes. Add banana, cream, nuts and flour mixture. Beat 1/2 minute, until well blended. Bake 1 hour until done. Loosen and remove. Cool thoroughly.
