Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 then grease a jelly roll pan.
  2. In heavy saucepan heat chocolate over low heat until melted and smooth stirring frequently.
  3. In large bowl with mixer at low speed beat sugar, syrup, vanilla and butter just until blended.
  4. Increase speed to high then beat until light and fluffy.
  5. Reduce speed to low then add flour, salt and eggs and beat until well mixed.
  6. Increase speed to high and beat 2 minutes then at low speed blend in melted chocolate.
  7. Stir in walnuts with wooden spoon the spread batter evenly in pan and bake 40 minutes.
  8. Cool brownies in pan on wire rack.
  9. Beat confectioners' sugar, milk, peppermint extract and 6 tablespoons butter until smooth.
  10. Stir in enough green food coloring to tint then evenly spread frosting over cooled brownies.
  11. Refrigerate while preparing glaze.
  12. Heat glaze ingredients in heavy saucepan over low heat until chocolate melts and is smooth.
  13. Stir frequently then remove from heat and stir frequently until glaze cools slightly.
  14. Spread over frosting to completely cover top then refrigerate until glaze is set about 1 hour.
