Worlds Greatest French Toast

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine brown sugar, butter and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a rectangular baking dish.
  2. Add cranberries and apples and toss to coat well.
  3. Spread apple mixture evenly over bottom of baking dish then arranges slices of bread on top.
  4. Mix eggs, milk, vanilla and 2 teaspoons cinnamon until well blended then pour mixture over bread.
  5. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Bake covered with foil in a preheated 375 oven for 40 minutes then uncover and bake 5 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven then let stand 5 minutes and serve warm.
