Directions:

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, combine all ingredients except beef
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat , cover and simmer
  3. While soup is heating, cook beef in a large skillet until brown
  4. Drain excess grease, then stir beef into soup pot
  5. Simmer, covered, until flavors are well blended, about 1 hour
