  26. (2-pound) package top round steak, cut into 1-inch cubes $
  27. /3 cup all-purpose flour $
  28. Tablespoons vegetable oil $
  29. Cups water
  30. Baking potatoes, cut into 1/2-inch cubes $
  31. Carrots, sliced $
  32. Small onions, chopped $
  33. Celery rib, chopped $
  34. Cup frozen sweet green peas
  35. (16-ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained $
  36. (6-ounce) can tomato paste
  37. Tablespoons beef bouillon granules
  38. To 2 teaspoons pepper
  39. Preparation
  40. Toss together steak and flour.
  41. Brown steak in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 6 minutes.
  42. Stir together steak, 4 cups water, and remaining ingredients in a 5-quart slow cooker.
  43. Cook, covered, at HIGH 8 hours or until vegetables are tender.
