Spiced Pumpkin-Applesauce Bars

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp clove
  • 4 eggs

Directions:

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Set oven rack to second lowest position.
  3. Grease a 15x10 baking sheet.
  4. In a bowl, sift all dry ingredients.
  5. In another bowl, combine eggs, pumpkin and applesauce; mix well.
  6. Stir into the dry ingredients.
  7. Spread into prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned.
  9. Cool, sprinkle with icing sugar.
  10. Cut into bars.
