  1. Sear roast in pan. Place half of diced potatoes and carrots in bottom of crock pot. Add roast. Add rest of potatoes and carrots. Add lipton onion soup mix. Add cream of mushroom soup mix. Add 1 can of water. Cook on high for 4-6 hours or low 8-10 hours.
