Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 cups flour/1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1-3/4 cups sifted powdered sugar

Directions:

  1. 1. Heat oven to 350. In small bowl stir together flour, baking soda,
  2. And salt. Set aside. In large mixer bowl beat 1-1/2 cups brown sugar
  3. And butter on medium speed of electric mixer until combined. Add egg.
  4. Beat until fluffy. Add flour mixture to butter mixture. Beat until
  5. Combined. Stir in first cup pecans.
  6. 2. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 10
  7. To 12 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned. Transfer to wire
  8. Racks. Cool completely.
  9. 3. For glaze, in a small saucepan combine half-and-half and 1/3 cup
  10. Brown sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Broil for 2
  11. Minutes more, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Beat in
  12. Powdered sugar.
  13. 4. Place 1 teaspoon chopped pecans on each cookie. Drizzle glaze over
  14. Pecans. Let stand at room temperature until set. Makes 36 cookies.
