Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cut the bacon into 1/2 pieces and brown the bacon in the pan you are going to prepare the dish.
  2. Remove the bacon and drain off about 1/2 of the grease. If you like you can use all of the bacon grease.
  3. Return bacon to pan and add beans sugar and pepper (I like a little more pepper but my wife says to be nice)
  4. Bring to simmer and cook for 30 min or bake at 300 for 2hrs (for me stovetop wins every time)
