Lavender or Rose Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water (or rose )
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1/2-1 cup lavender , petals fresh edible
  • 2 -4 drops food coloring

Directions:

  1. Boil all ingredients for ten minutes, or until thickened into syrup. Add food coloring of choice.
  2. Strain through a filter into a clean glass jar.
  3. Keeps up to two weeks in the refrigerator.
