Ingredients:

  • 1/4 tsp alum
  • 1 bunch(es) hot peppers
  • 3 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup oregano
  • 2/3 cup salt
  • 1 quart vinegar
  • 3 cup water

Directions:

  1. Wash and clean peppers. slice into rings. Mix other ingredients, pour over pepper slices to cover. Let stand at least two hours. Pack into jars, cover with brine and KEEP REFRIGERATED. The longer the better.
