Honey Nut Bread

Ingredients:

  • 21/2 cup flour
  • 2tspbaking powder
  • 1tdp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 11/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Directions:

  1. Grease 9x5 loaf pan. preheat oven to 350. Whisk first 4 ingredients in med. bowl till well blended.
  2. Beat egg in seperate bowl until light yellow. Beat in next 4 ingredients.
  3. Beat liquid ingredients into dry ones,until just blended.
  4. Fold in the walnuts or pecans.
  5. Pour batter into greased pan and bake till toothpick comes out clean,about 40 mins.
  6. Cool slightly,unmold
