Ingredients:

  • 4 red bartlett pears or 4 comice pears
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup malted vanilla-flavored soymilk or 1/2 cup almond-flavored soymilk
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 pinch ground cloves

Directions:

  1. Peel and slice pears.
  2. Put in blender then add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
  3. Serve immed or place in a saucepan over low heat and serve warm.
  4. Omit extract if using almond soymilk.
