Flying Broomstick Cats

Ingredients:

  • 5 oz milk chocolate confectionary coating
  • 6 pretzel sticks
  • 3/4 cup potato sticks

Directions:

  1. Draw 6 images of cat pattern onto waxed paper; place on a baking sheet.
  2. Place another sheet of waxed paper over the top and secure both to baking sheet with tape.
  3. In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt 2 oz. of candy coating; stir until smooth.
  4. Cut a small hole in the corner of a pastry or plastic bag; insert #3 round pastry tip.
  5. Fill bag with melted chocolate.
  6. Pipe outlines of three cats and fill in centers.
  7. Place a pretzel stick at bottom of each cat for broomstick.
  8. With sprinkles, add eye and collar on each cat.
  9. Melt 2 oz. of additional candy coating; repeat for remaining cats.
  10. Melt remaining candy coating.
  11. Cut a small hole in the corner of a pastry or plastic bag; insert #3 round pastry tip.
  12. Fill bag with melted chocolate.
  13. Pipe a small amount of chocolate on one end of each pretzel stick; attach potato sticks to form broom bristles.
  14. Melt vanilla chips; stir until smooth.
  15. Place in a pastry bag with a #3 round tip.
  16. Pipe lines where broomsticks and bristles meet.
