Ingredients:

  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 cup. chopped nuts
  • 1 1/2 stick oleo
  • note: it has been suggested to melt the butter. makes sence to me.

Directions:

  1. Grease 9 x 13 inch pan.
  2. Spread pineapple over bottom of pan.
  3. Spread cherry pie filling over pineapple.
  4. Sprinkle cake mix over the fruits.
  5. Top with nuts.
  6. Break oleo into small pieces and sprinkle on top.
  7. Do Not Mix.
  8. Bake 1 hour or until brown at 325 to 350 degrees.
  9. Cut into squares and serve.
  10. =====================================================
  11. Note: I don't know why recipe gives two bake times.
