Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. For bread: In a large bowl, combine oil, sugar, eggs extracts and mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, poppy seed and baking powder and mix well.
  4. Alternate adding flour mixture and milk to sugar mixture.
  5. Pour into 3 greased and floured 7 X 3 inch loaf pans or 2 9 X 5 inch loaf pans (half to two thirds full).
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 35-45 minutes for medium loaves or 45 -55 minutes for large loaves.
  7. Remove from oven and cool in pans on a rack for 10 minutes, then invert and cool completely.
  8. For topping: Combine ingredients in microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high 1 to 2 minutes or til butter is melted and sugar is dissolved.
  9. Stir well and brush topping over cooled loaves with a pastry brush.
