Ingredients:

  • crabapple (alot!!! there is no measurement)
  • 6 cups sugar
  • 3 cups water

Directions:

  1. Wash and remove blossom end.
  2. Leave stems on.
  3. Do not peel!
  4. Make syrup with sugar and water.
  5. Bring to boil.
  6. Boil for 5 minutes.
  7. Add apples to syrup.
  8. Boil until apples are tender and transparent.
  9. Fill hot jars with fruit and syrup to 1/2 inch of top.
  10. Put on canning lids.
  11. Process in hot water bath for 15 minutes.
