Colonel Sanders' Kentucky Buttermilk Pie

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 1/2 cups churned buttermilk

Directions:

  1. Beat 4 eggs and 3/4 cup sugar together until light and lemon colored.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons flour and beat some more.
  3. Mix the butter, vanilla, lemon juice and buttermilk, then add it to the egg mixture.
  4. Pour into baked, but not browned, pie shell.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes (over baking makes it tough).
