Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp yeast
  • 1/2 cup shortening or 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 -5 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Combine milk and water
  2. Heat until warm.
  3. Add yeast and 1 TBSP of sugar stir well.
  4. Add remaining ingredients.
  5. Let rise 2xs.
  6. Bake 350 F for 20 mins.
