Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour , sifted
  • 4 oz butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • pecan halves

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300.
  2. Combine cheese, flour and butter very well. Add salt and cayenne.
  3. Roll dough into a ball. Pinch off half.
  4. Roll out on floured board, rather thin. Cut with small biscuit cutter (or any cutter your want to use).
  5. Place on cookie sheet (I use silpat lined jelly roll pans).
  6. Put a pecan half in the center of each cookie.
  7. Bake in a slow oven until lightly brown.
