Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Melt chocolate squares in a 2 quart saucepan on medium heat on the stovetop
  2. Fold in sugar
  3. Add the Karo corn syrup and Carnation milk
  4. Stir over medium heat until sugar and chocolate dissolve
  5. Bring to boil and cook , stirring occasionally to 234 degrees or until soft ball stage forms in cold water
  6. Remove from heat and cool to 110 degrees in same saucepan
  7. When cool, add butter or margarine, vanilla extract, and chopped nuts
  8. Beat by hand until candy loses it's gloss and pour into a butterered dish
  9. Let set, lick the spoon in the meantime, and then cut into squares.
  10. Enjoy!
