Butter Tart Coconut Squares

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 3 tbsp flour

Directions:

  1. Cream 1/2 cup butter.
  2. Add 2 tbsp brown sugar & 1 cup flour; blend with fork.
  3. Press into 9 x9 pan & bake at 350F for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove.
  5. Meanwhile:.
  6. Mix next 6 ingredients together & spread over base as soon as it is removed from oven.
  7. Bake 30-35 minutes more.
  8. Cool thoroughly & cut into squares.
