Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Boil 5 cups of water
  2. Trim stem down on artichoke(the brown part), trim outer leaves just the thorny part. Place artichoke in boiling water, turn it down to simmer and cover, steam cook the vegetable for 20-25 mins. Or until outer leaves pull of with ease. Melt butter in pan along with the garlic, add lemon and s+p. serve artichoke and dip it's leaves into butter sauce, save sauce for the heart. When you have finished with its leaves, skim/cut the fine white thorns away from heart and Voila! -you have reached the best part, cut the heart into pieces and soak up the rest with the butter sauce.
