3 new orleans beans pot Recipes

onion, minced, garlic clove, minced, lean ground beef, canned red kidney beans (new orleans style red kidney beans preferred, drained of liquid), diced tomatoes (1 can), tomato sauce (1 small can), kitchen bouquet, chili powder, cayenne pepper (or more per taste ), pepper (mccormick hot shot!), creole seasoning (tony chachere s original creole seasoning ), bay leaf

dry red kidney beans, heaping tbsp bacon grease (if you don tsp have any bacon grease, fry a pack of bacon in the pot you are going to cook the beans in, remove the bacon and leave the grease in the pot.), water (2 quarts), yellow onion, chopped, green pepper, chopped, green onions, chopped, minced garlic, cajun seasoning mix (or equivalent ingredients) (recipe on my recipe page), hot sauce, worcestershire sauce, andouille sausage peeled and sliced 1/4 in. thick, ham hocks, salt to taste
