semisweet chocolate or 6 oz bittersweet chocolate, unsalted butter (1-1/2 sticks), vanilla wafers , finely ground in a food processor, sugar, best quality cocoa, toasted pecan halves, finely ground in a food processor, generous pinch salt, almond paste, sour cream, dark rum or 3/4 cup rum, of your choice or 1 tbsp vanilla extract, chocolate sprinkles
