salad, spanish (red onion) finely chopped (can substitute green onions/scallions), hardboiled eggs, quartered, dill gherkins, diced, bean mix, drained, whole corn kernels, drained, potatoes , cooked until firm but not mushy, fresh (if in season, lightly steamed) or canned asparagus, well drained, dressing, classic vinaigrette (oil and lemon/vinegar), aside : a flavoured oil or vinegar might add some zest, maybe garlic oil and raspberry vinegar ), a really good mayonnaise dressing
