6 ajvar pepper and eggplant Recipes

red bell peppers, eggplant (roughly 1 1/2 lb), garlic cloves, depending on taste, olive oil, divided , additional oil to finish dish, white vinegar, salt and pepper, to taste, dried red chili pepper flakes (optional), basil leaves (optional)

eggplant peeled ( if unpeeled the color won tsp be as intense red- orange but for the recipe i did include the peel ), several smaller eggplants to avoid to many seeds which idon tsp like, red bell peppers seeded, white sweet onion, garlic, olive oil or to taste, white vinegar, few drops to taste, sugar or splenda to taste, perhjaps only a tsp or to taste, salt and pepper to taste
