Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cup white corn syrup
  • 1 tsp of oil flavoring of your choice.. she adds extra
  • 1 tsp food coloring. if you use paste, you can use less .

Directions:

  1. Combine the first 3 ingredents in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Cook to 300 for hard crack stage.
  4. Remove from heat add flavor and color.
  5. Pour in a cookie sheet that has been dusted quite heavy with powdered sugar.
  6. After it is hard sprinkle more powdered sugar on again.
  7. Break into pieces and store in an air tight container.
  8. Enjoy and make memories
