Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees;
  2. Lightly grease cookie sheet with spray oil;
  3. Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy;
  4. Add egg, pumpkin and vanilla, mixing well;
  5. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and spices;
  6. Add to wet mixture;
  7. Fold in walnuts and chocolate chips;
  8. Using teaspoon, drop dough on to cookie sheet;
  9. Bake for 15 minutes or until light brown.
