  1. Combine pears and pineapple in a flat-bottomed kettle. Add sugar and lemon juice, stirring well. Slowly bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Boil over medium- low heat, stirring occasionally, 30 minutes or until pears become translucent.
  2. Ladle honey into hot sterilized jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace. Cover with metal lids, and screw bands tight. Process honey in boiling-water bath 5 minutes.
