Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 tbsp butter
  • 2 1/2 tbsp applesauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup molasses
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup raisins (optional)

Directions:

  1. Cream butter, sugar, egg, applesauce, and honey.
  2. Mix in molasses until smooth.
  3. Add spices, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and flour. Mix well with hand mixer.
  4. Add in oatmeal. Stir in well. You may want to add more, I'm not sure of the consistency yet.
  5. Add in any extra items.
  6. Place on a greased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake 8-12 minutes at 350.
