Ingredients:

  • 1 (32 oz) bag shredded hash browns (mr. dell's suggested)
  • 1 pint whipping cream (2 cups)
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Pour potatoes in prepared baking dish Pour cream over. Sprinkle on the salt and pepper.
  3. Bake uncovered in preheated oven until potatoes are glazey and slightly brown on top, about an hour (experiment the first time!).
  4. NOTE: Nindsy adds this note to her recipe: You owe it to yourself to make this with cream the first time. You will be tempted to add onion and maybe cheddar cheese on top, but again, I urge you to try it once with only the cream. To die for! .
