Mushroom Wild Rice Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1/2 cup carrot
  • 1 (6 oz) package uncle bens wild rice
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp water

Directions:

  1. Melt butter and sautee mushrooms, onion, carrots, and garlic. cook until tender.
  2. In large kettle put broth, veggies, rice, and seasoning packet.
  3. Simmer 1 hour.
  4. Stir in wine.
  5. Blend water and flour and stir into soup.
  6. Heat to boiling.
  7. Stir in cream.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
