Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 4 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 4 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in microwave.
  2. Stir in sugar and molasses. Let cool slightly.
  3. Add eggs, soda, salt cinnamon, nutmeg. Stir well
  4. Add flour-1 cup at a time
  5. Dough will be very stiff.
  6. Cover and let sit in fridge 2 hours.
  7. Heat oven to 350 degrees
  8. Roll dough into little balls. Roll in powdered sugar.
  9. Place on greased cookie sheet. flatten slightly.
  10. Bake 10-12 minutes
