Ingredients:

  • 1/3-1/2 cup. sugar ( i use scant 1/3 + 2tsp. local honey (whatever is local for you))
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. salt (or to taste)
  • 1/8-1/4 tsp. cayanne pepper (or to taste)
  • 1/3-1/2 cup. cider vinegar (i use 1/3)
  • 2-4 tsp. butter ( i use 1 1/2t.)
  • 1/2 cup. evaporated milk (i recently had to use 1/4c.whole milk+2tsp. coffee creamer
  • 1/2 tsp. yellow mustare ( dijon oe the cracked mustard seed mustard may be used or none at all.

Directions:

  1. WHISK EGGS,SUGAR/HONEY,SALT,CORNSTARCH,CAYENNE IN A SAUCEPAN.
  2. GRADUALLY ADD VINEGAR WHISKING WELL.
  3. COOK OVER LOW HEAT STIRRING OFTEN..,APPX. 5 MINUTES OR UNTIL THICK.
  4. REMOVE FROM HEAT WHISK IN BUTTER AND MILK..
  5. STASH IN CHILL CHEST WHILE COOKING POTATOES IN SKINS OR MACARONI.
  6. WHILE COOKING THIS STUFF PREP WHAT EVER ADD INS YOU LIKE IN YOUR SALAD.
  7. ALSO GOOD USED ON CHICKEN & TURKEY SALAD..
  8. YOUR IMAGINATION PUTS THE LIMITS ON THE USES FOR THIS WONDERFULLY YUMMY DRESSING…ENJOY AND GIVE THAT IMAGINATION FREE REIGN!!!!
