Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. Beat egg well.
  2. In small saucepan, stir together all ingredients.
  3. Without bringing to a boil, cook over moderately low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens-about 5 minutes.
  4. Cover and chill about 1 hour.
