Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Butter a 2-qt casserole.
  3. Place sliced apples in prepared casserole dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix lemon juice and water; pour over the apples.
  5. In another small bowl, mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt; pour over the apples and the lemon/water mixture.
  6. Dot with chopped butter on the top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes; stirring occasionally.
