Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Stem and seed the dried peppers. Crumble them up somewhat.
  2. Toast the cumin seeds in a small cast iron skillet over med-high heat for about a minute, shaking constantly to move them about. Do not allow to burn!
  3. Place all the above, in batches, into an electric coffee grinder.
  4. Grind into powder.
  5. Mix thoroughly. Place into clean container(s) and use as you would any store-bought chile powder.
