Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Bring to a boil and stirring constantly boil for one minute
  2. Remove from heat and beat until lukewarm
  3. Add 1 tsp vanilla
  4. Beat until spreading consistently
