Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cup. bran
  • 1/2 cup. raisins (optional)
  • 1/2 cup. honey or mollasses
  • 3/4 cup. milk
  • 2 tblsp. soft butter or shortening.

Directions:

  1. Put dry ingredients & raisins into bowl.
  2. Moisten with egg, honey, milk and shortening. blend together.
  3. Bake in well-greased muffin tins at 400 degrees for 25-25 minutes. Makes 24 bran muffins.
