Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple blossom honey (or which ever you have, but if you can get apple blossom, it has a wonderful flavor!)
  • 1 tsp nutmeg (or better yet , a couple passes of a whole nutmeg over a micro plane)
  • 2 tbsp corn starch dissolved in 1/4 cup cold water

Directions:

  1. In a sauce pan heat apples, sugar, honey and water until it boils. Add nutmeg and blueberries,boil 3-5 min or until apples turn blueberry color.
  2. Pour corn starch mixture in and cook until thickened.
  3. Add the lemon and stir well.
